Hello, this is Technology Today Now. In this article, we will deliver the benchmark results of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but before that, let me briefly tell you about the previous news.

Galaxy S25 series may be equipped with Snapdragon 8 4th generation chipset

Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 series will likely feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, regardless of model and region, due to yield issues with the Exynos chipset. However, we did mention that due to unit cost issues, we may see a significant increase in the list price instead.

And for the first time, the Geekbench 6 benchmark record for the U.S. version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra with Snapdragon’s 4th generation chipset has been leaked. The model is SM-S938U, which, as I said, is estimated to be the U.S. version of the S25 Ultra, and the performance score is as follows.

  • Singlecore: 3,069 points
  • Multicore: 9,080 points

While these scores are slightly lower than the Snapdragon 8 4th Gen chipsets found in Chinese smartphones, we see significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance over the S24 Ultra, which averaged 2,250 single-core and 7,200 multi-core scores.

Also, when compared to the iPhone 16 Pro lineup, which scored around 3,400 points in single-core and 8,600 points in multi-core, the Galaxy S25 Ultra scored lower in single-core but higher in multi-core.

The RAM amount has also been confirmed. Previously, it was reported that it would have 16GB of RAM, but the information revealed in this benchmark suggests that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have 12GB of RAM. However, we’ll have to wait and see as the US and Korean models are different, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on this one.
