5 New Products to Expect at Apple’s October 2024 Event

Hi, this is Technologytodaynow. Apple’s October event is expected to happen again this October. For the past decade, Apple has held its event in mid to late October, with last year’s “Scary fast” themed event on October 30th. The date hasn’t been confirmed, but the most likely date is Tuesday, October 29th. In this article, we’ll take a look at the products that are expected to be unveiled at Apple’s October event.

Apple’s October event is likely to be dominated by the M4 chipset, which was first introduced in the iPad Pro in May of this year. First seen in the iPad Pro, which launched in the first half of the year, the M4 chipset is expected to make its way into a variety of products, including the new MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac, and more.

Specifically, we’re expecting to see the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M4 chipsets, the Mac Mini, which is said to be getting an all-new upgrade, and the Mac lineup of iMACs, which are also expected to get chipset upgrades and new colors, as well as the much-anticipated new iPad mini 7 and the entry-level new iPad 11.

The product expected to get the most attention here is the new Mac Mini.
This will be the first design change since 2010, and is expected to shrink to the size of an Apple TV.

It is said that it will be equipped with the M4, M4 Pro chipset and that 16GB of RAM will be installed as standard for the smooth operation of Apple Intelligence without any price change from the previous model. However, there is some concern that the number of ports will be insufficient as the USB-A port will be replaced with USB-C and the size will be reduced to the level of the Apple TV.

The iPad mini 7 is also attracting a lot of attention. It is expected to be more powerful than its predecessor with an A18 chipset and 8GB of RAM. It won’t feature an OLED panel this time around, but will likely be the last to use an LCD panel with jelly scrolling fixed.

Wi-Fi 6E was rumored to be supported, but since the iPhone 16has Wi-Fi 7, the big question is whether Apple will bring Wi-Fi 7 to the iPad mini.
