According to display analyst and CEO Ross Young (@DSCCRoss), Samsung will begin production of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Ultrain August. He adds that production will begin in October, and the color options for the Plus and Ultra models will be gray and silver. Presumably, they’re starting production in August to ensure that they have enough units ahead of the product launch.

If this is true, the rumor that the Galaxy Tab S10 series will be released in October will be considered more credible. With production starting in August and a release in October, we can expect users’ expectations to get higher and higher.

Discontinuing regular Galaxy Tab S10 models and focusing on larger screen models

What’s interesting is that the new production news makes no mention of a base model for the Galaxy Tab S10. According to rumors currently circulating, Samsung is planning to streamline the Galaxy Tab lineup to just the Plus and Ultra models, without a base model, to allow for better choice and focus. The company will likely discontinue the regular version of the Galaxy Tab S10 and instead focus more on the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and the 14.6-inch Tab S10 Ultra. This is expected to appeal to consumers who prefer tablets with larger screen sizes.

Galaxy Tab S10 Series with MediaTek Dimensity CPU

The Galaxy Tab S10 series will use Taiwan’s MediaTek’s high-end Dimensity CPU instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon CPU. A recent leak on Geekbench confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus will indeed be powered by Taiwan’s MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, which shows Samsung’s strategy of balancing price and performance.

With the release of the Galaxy Tab S10 series approaching, users are raising their expectations for the new Galaxy Tab. In particular, attention is focusing on what innovations Samsung will show in the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series, with large screens and MediaTek’s high-performance CPUs. More information is expected to be revealed in the future, and we will update you as soon as we have any additional information.
