Galaxy S25 slim design information leaked

hello. This is Technologytodaynow. With the Galaxy S25 series yet to be released, there is growing interest in the Galaxy S25 slim design, which is expected to be released in the second quarter. It is thought that many consumers may be considering which model to choose between the S25 Plus, S25 Slim, or S25 Ultra. Information about the design of the Galaxy S25 slim has been revealed.

While we expected a unique design like the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, the Galaxy S25 Slim is unexpectedly adopting a familiar design. If you look at the renders revealed in On Leaks, the S25 Slim has a design that is almost identical to the base and plus models.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a larger display, so the overall size is also larger. The rear panel is patterned in new directions, making the surface look different. Furthermore, the rear camera has a unique design with a rectangular camera bump, and it does not have a UDC (under display camera). On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Slim does not have any of these features at all.

The S25 Slim is expected to adopt the same camera ring as the S25 series, and although you might feel bored with the repetitive design, it’s a complete design that makes you wonder if there’s a better design. Rather than making any significant changes to the design, the main goal of the slim model is to provide even greater portability.

Portability and Thickness Comparison

With a display ranging from approximately 6.7 to 6.8 inches, the S25 Slim is expected to measure 159 millimeters by 76 millimeters by 6.4 millimeters in thickness. It is a slightly larger size than the plus model. As such, the thickness is very thin to match the name “Slim.” The overall size, thickness, and weight are critical because the product is focused on maximizing portability while having similar specifications to the ultra model.

Compared to other models, the base and ultra models are expected to be 7.2mm, 7.3mm, and 8.2mm thick, respectively, while the S25 Slim is expected to be at least 0.8mm to 1.8mm thinner. In particular, the difference between these thin models is likely to be evident when compared to the ultra models.

Battery capacity and performance concerns

The exact weight of the S25 Slim has yet to be revealed, but given that the expected weight of the S25 Plus is 190g, the S25 Slim is expected to be less than 200g. However, the battery capacity is worrisome. According to Digital Chat Station, the battery capacity of the S25 Slim is expected to range from 3,000mAh to 4,000mAh.

It seemed like it could offer a similar capacity to the main series when equipped with silicon-carbon batteries, like Chinese smartphones, but 3,000mAh is a bit of a worry about battery life. The 3,000mAh battery capacity on Android smartphones is a front-runner for battery time, given that the display is in the late six-inch range. Other brands, such as the iPhone, show longer battery life for similar capacities, but it’s unclear if the Galaxy S25 Slim can perform the same.
