hello. This is Technologytodaynow. Recently, a new physical photo of the Galaxy S25 Ultra was released via Android Authority, and we’d like to see what changes have happened. The photo includes details that have not been confirmed in previous physical videos, and the bottom of the body and display design changes are particularly notable.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Major Changes in Revealed Real Images
Rounding edges and flat display
If you look at the actual photo released by Android Authority, you can see the bottom part of the Galaxy S25 Ultra body that has not been seen before. First of all, you can see that the display corners have changed from the existing right-angled shape to a smooth curve. Additionally, the side frames adopt a more angular design, giving the entire display a flatter appearance.
Controversy over Bezel Thickness
In this photo, the display bezel looks a bit thicker than the previous model, but it is likely a visual effect from close-up shots. According to previous information, the S25 Ultra will implement a thin bezel that is as thin as the iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, the top, bottom, left, and right bezels look uniform.
Maintain components and S Pen slots in the lower part of the body
- S Pen Slot: Position to the left as before
- USB-C port: central placement
- USIM SLOT: KEEP AT BOTTOM
- Speaker Hall: Same straight design as S24 Ultra
Previously, it was expected that the position of the S Pen slot would change to the right, but this leak confirmed that the position of the S Pen slot was still on the left, and that the speaker hole applied from the previous model remained the same. You can also see that the position of the USIM slot is also placed at the bottom
New features and changes in One UI 7.0
AOD charging animation improvement
Changed UI Design
In addition, the interface screen of One UI 7.0 has been released.
- New icon design: Keep the old square-cle shape, modify some icons
- Quick Panel Improvements: Also remove text from Quick Panel and add volume adjustment bar in top bar settings
- Setting Panel Design: Change shape to oval
- Battery Icon Update: Intuitive Design Application
S25 Series Design Integration
As I’ve said before, the Galaxy S25 Ultra emphasized design consistency across the S25 series, unlike previous models, through its angled side frame and rounded corner curvature. However, the Ultra model seems to maintain the flow of design integration, although there are some differences due to the S Pen storage slot.
