Galaxy Z Flip 7 Confirms Full Screen Cover Display
Android Authority claims to have confirmed the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s full-screen cover display through an analysis of a leaked One UI 8 APK. According to the report, Samsung has been a pioneer in Android foldable flagship smartphones, but its innovation in the foldable space seems to have stagnated recently.
The initial information about the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 alone disappointed consumers when it was reported that the same design as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 would be maintained.
Since then, however, according to new information, the Flip 7 will feature a 4-inch full-screen cover display with all but the camera part as Motorola’s RAZR cover display.

In addition, information suggesting that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature a full-screen cover display was verified through the firmware on the One UI 8. You can see the animated renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Flip 6, and Flip 7 in the animation files included in the leaked firmware.
First off, the designs of the already released Flip 5 and Flip 6 feature a cover display with a cutout for the camera position, while the renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 show the camera placed in the same position as the Flip 6, but filling the entire display instead of being cut off. Aside from the design change via this animated render, there is no further information about the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Compare to Flip 6
When I moved from Flip 4 to Flip 5, I felt the change in appearance due to the change in the display even though the camera position remained the same even though the display size increased, but when I compared the flip 6 and flip 7 side by side this time, the impression on the appearance is quite different.
