Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fold Expected Specifications Revealed
Differences in response to the Galaxy S25 series in Korea and overseas markets

The response from overseas consumers to the Galaxy S25 series does not seem to be very good, contrary to what domestic consumers think positively. Perhaps the reason for this response is that the range of upgrades we feel is greater than that of overseas users.
The purchase points of the Galaxy S25 series can be seen as performance improvement and price maintenance.
Domestic consumers seem to feel that the performance improvement is significantly felt thanks to the upgrade from the Exynos 2400 to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. On the other hand, North American consumers seem to feel relatively less performance improvement due to the upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The difference is that we wonder if domestic consumers will be able to experience similar emotions on foldable smartphones.
Key Specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 7
According to a report by GSM Arena, some specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 have been leaked. First, looking at the Galaxy Z Fold 7, this model will be exclusively equipped with the Snapdragon Elite processor, similar to the previous Fold series. Storage options include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, and RAM capacity will be fixed at 12GB. There is no upgrade in RAM capacity, and because it changes from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to 8 Elite, it can be evaluated as having little upgrade like the S25 series.
Design and Display
According to current rumors, however, the Fold 7 is expected to have a larger display than the Fold 6. While this is expected to result in significant changes experienced, domestic users may feel less refreshed than international users. Since the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which has already grown in display size in Korea, international users without the special edition model are likely to feel more fresh about the Fold 7. If the reference point is the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is tipped to be a significant upgrade. In addition, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 that will come with the Fold 7 is rumoured to remain at its launch price.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 Expected Specifications
And speaking of the specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, this model is expected to be equipped with the Exynos 2500 chipset, and in some countries it is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon Elite chipset. Memory will remain the same at 12GB, while storage options will be available in 256GB and 512GB. The chipset is likely to be equipped with the Exynos 2500, considering the decrease in profits due to the Snapdragon sole installation. In particular, the Flip series is recording high sales in Korea, so it seems highly likely that the Exynos 2500 will be installed in the Flip 7 model released in Korea.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 Concerns
The upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to the Elite is also said to be somewhat mediocre, and compared to the 8 Gen 3, the Exynos 2500 doesn’t seem like a very appealing upgrade. Currently, not many specific changes to the Flip 7 are known. Without any external display design changes or major upgrades to the camera, it could be a disappointing model. Of course, if the Exynos 2500 performs beyond our expectations, those concerns could go away, but I think it’s important how much the Exynos 2500 performs.
