hello. This is Technologytodaynow. Time seems to have passed so quickly that it’s hard to believe that there are less than a container left until the Apple event. Apple’s official event will be held next Sunday, September 9th at 10am and Korea will be held at 2am on September 10th. In this posting, we’ve done a better job of giving you a brief summary of the products expected to be revealed at Apple’s highly anticipated event.
From iPhone 16 to AirPods 4, a preview of new products from Apple’s event
iPhone 16 regular lineup
The main character of this Apple event is the iPhone. The iPhone 16 series, scheduled to be introduced at this event, has a camera orientation from diagonal to vertical, allowing for spatial video shooting that reduces the view.
Colors will include all-new colors such as silver, black, blue, and green-pink, and the latest news is that the new capture button, which was previously thought to be exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro lineup, is coming to the regular iPhone lineup as well. The iPhone will be upgraded to 8GB from its 6GB predecessor for Apple Intelligence support, and will reportedly feature the latest chipset, the A18. It will also support the macro lens feature, which has been present in the pro lineup since the iPhone 13 Pro.
iPhone 16 Pro lineup
The biggest change to the iPhone 16 Pro lineup is the increase in display size. For those who found the iPhone 56 Pro to be a bit too small, and for those who liked the size but struggled with the weight of the Pro Max, the iPhone 16 Pro will be a good choice, as it increases to 6.3 inches. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will grow to 6.9 inches, which will be great for Americans, many of whom have relatively large hands, but it’s a huge step up in size, so I’m curious to see how the hand feel and weight will actually feel.
The reason why the Pro Max is getting bigger is to put the IMX 903 sensor on it, but it was previously said that the Pro model lineup will also be equipped with it, so we will need to confirm this after the release. However, this year, there is no difference between Pro and Pro Max, so I think we can fully expect Apple to divide the grades based on the sensor.
The Pro lineup will all feature a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5x telephoto lens. The Pro lineup will have Wi-Fi 7 support, so you’ll need a compatible router to enjoy faster speeds. The iPhone 16 Pro series will also have an improved battery, but it’s also said to charge faster, from 27W to 40W.
Apple Watch X
The Apple Watch is coming out this year with a 10th anniversary concept. Previous rumors have suggested an all-new design, much thinner, and a new band mounting system, but it doesn’t appear to be happening this time around.
Looking at the leaked cad, there doesn’t seem to be much design change from the full-length model.
However, it is known that the watch face will be larger. There are rumors of a blood pressure sensor being added, but we don’t expect any blood sugar-related sensors to be updated.
It also looks like the oxygen saturation feature will still be unavailable for those living in the US. The latest update is that the Apple Watch series will be switching case materials from stainless to titanium, with the addition of ceramic.
Apple Watch Ultra 3
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is also said to have no major changes. However, after the release of the Ultra 2, it was said to be no different from its predecessor, the Ultra 1, but the battery life of the main chip was increased. However, there are rumors of a new color, Black Titanium, just like when the Ultra 2 launched. In fact, it was even spotted testing on our desk before the Ultra 2’s launch. A new band and new watch face for the Ultra 3 is also being heavily rumored.
Apple Watch SE 3
The Apple Watch SE 3 is first and foremost a material change. It will reportedly move from the traditional aluminum material to a lighter, stronger, renewable plastic. It’s also expected to be 3D printed and come in a variety of colors and a price drop.
AirPods 4
There will be two Airpods this year. There will be the AirPods 4 in the regular lineup and, surprisingly, they’ll reportedly feature noise canceling, which has been a hallmark of the pro lineup.
The new lineup is predicted to be a low-end model, selling for $99. With the wireless earphone market leveling off, the focus on price and performance in Apple’s low-end models feels more relevant than ever.
AirPods Max 2
If the AirPods Max 2 launches at the event, it won’t be good news. All we know so far is that it will switch from a Lightning port to a USB C port. It would be great to see a change in the core chipset from the H1 to the H2, but that’s not known either.
iPad mini 7
The iPad mini 7 has been eagerly awaited by many users. There’s talk of a September launch instead of the October launch that I mentioned earlier. If you think about it, it’s a growth event for Apple Intelligence, and what product would be the easiest and quickest to showcase Apple Intelligence, it’s easy to predict that the iPad mini 7 will be released.
In addition to fixing the jelly scrolling issue, it will feature the A18 chipset, support for the iPhones 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The Mini 7 is not expected to feature any known OLED panels when it launches this year.
